Paint-your-own pottery parties
Paint your own pottery parties are not only great for children's parties but adults too! No experience necessary. I bring everything to you to help create pieces you are proud of. Unleash your creative instincts! If you're worried you're not creative enough then think again! There are various techniques to help those of us who are "artistically challenged"!!
Bisque is the name for pottery when it has not been painted or glazed.
Childrens parties (16 and under), up to 2 hrs, minimum 10 children.
Young children and toddlers love to paint and are usually happy with a paintbrush experimenting with various colours on a plate or mug - not all of which ends up on the pottery! (don't worry the paint is non-toxic and washes off easily). 4-6 year olds may want to use the shaped sponges to create little pictures. Older children can try out the various stamps and stencils to create their personalised masterpiece!
Standard party: Choice of a plate or a mug. Cost: 11 euros per child. Gold party: Choice of plate, mug or other bisque items, shown in our bisque page. Cost: 14 euros per child.

Parties for adults, up to 3 hrs, minimum 8 adults
Are you a group of friends wanting to test their creativity? Or fancy doing something different for a girls night out? You supply the food and drinks and I'll bring the party to you! We have lots of books for inspiration plus many stencils, stamps and sponges to help you create beautiful masterpieces! You can also use tracing paper to copy your favourite designs!
Choice of plate or mug. Cost: 12 euros per adult.
Hen parties, up to 3 hrs, min 8 adults
Choice of a plate, mug or large bowl plus the bride gets a signed commemorative plate and a mini heart hanger to decorate. Cost: 13 euros per person.
Baby print parties
Create a treasured keepsake of your child's early years - a hand or foot print captured on a plate forever! A great activity for playgroups or baby groups. See the baby print page for more details.
Party basics:
I will arrive half an hour before start time to set up and stay for 2 hours for childrens parties and 3 hours for adults.
I will bring everything needed for the party - bisque, paints, brushes, stencils etc. All you need to do is provide water and an area for everyone to sit and paint.
I will take all the pieces away with me, glaze them and fire them in the kiln. They will then be returned to you in 2 -3 days later (at busy times and for larger parties I may need longer to fire all the pieces).
Paint is non-toxic, lead-free, food-safe and washes easily out of clothes.
Whilst every care is taken with your work sometimes items can crack under stress or become damaged in the kiln, should this happen you will be offered a replacement piece for you to paint which we will glaze, fire and return to you at no extra cost.
